TeamLines announces St. Petersburg WSA

German’s company TeamLines it is forced to hike St. Petersburg Winter Surcharge due to severe winter and ice conditions in St. Petersburg and increased icebreaking surcharge, the company press release said.

As it is not able to recover any more additional cost through the existing winter surcharge, TeamLines increases the St. Petersburg Winter Surcharge to EUR 35 per laden and empty TEU, the company’s statement said.

The WS is to be applied for all shipments departing Hamburg/Bremerhaven or St. Petersburg from March 16th until the situation improves.
Besides, the company says it is forced to introduce a Congestion Surcharge of EUR 75 per laden and empty TEU.

This congestion surcharge is in addition to any similar surcharges implemented by St. Petersburg stevedores/terminals and will apply to all shipments to/from Petrolisport (PLP) and First Container Terminal (FCT) for shipments departing Hamburg/Bremerhaven or PLP/FCT on March 16th and remain in force until berth situation has normalized.
