Rosneft launches FGS on Don River
Rosneft’s subsidiary RN-Rostovnefteproduct put into operation the first on the Don River floating gas station (FGS), Rosneft press release said.
The filling station is located 11 km off Rostov, in the Olginskaya village. The FGS sells two grades of gasoline and diesel fuel. The complex includes a barge, onshore oil discharge facility and booms to prevent oil spill.
Besides, Rosneft operates such floating filling stations on the rivers of Angara, Volga, and in Anapa.
Rosneft is one of the largest public oil and gas companies worldwide. The Company is primarily engaged in exploration and production of hydrocarbons, production of petroleum products and petrochemicals, and marketing of outputs. Rosneft has been included in the Russian Government’s List of Strategic Enterprises and Organizations.
