Mumbai's Nhava Sheva container trade down 2%
MUMBAI's Jawaharlal Nehru (Nhava Sheva) container port, India's biggest box terminal, has suffered cargo diversion to Mundra and Pipavav because of congestion cutting throughput two per cent to 2.15 million TEU in the first half.
The port which handles almost half of the country's maritime traffic was down by five per cent in the total share of volume in the northeast India region, reported Alphaliner.
