Ningbo Port H1 net profit up 12.1%
Ningbo Port recorded a 12.14 percent year-on-year rise in first half 2011 net profit to 1.24 billion yuan, with earnings per share of 0.1 yuan, reports yicai.com, citing a company filing.Revenue rose 8.27 percent year-on-year to 3.33 billion yuan.Cargo throughput hit 186 million tons, up 16 percent year-on-year, of which iron ore accounted for 29.36 million tons, up 6.7 percent.
Crude oil throughput rose 16.6 percent to 17.35 million tons, while throughput of liquefied products hit 3.7 million tons, up 3.2 percent.
Container throughput hit 7.39 million TEUs during the reporting period, up 15.8 percent year-on-year.
The adjustment in container fees resulted in a 31.33 percent growth in revenue, while net profit growth hit 23.66 percent.
