NW Shipping’s M/V to deliver oversized cargo to Big Port St. Pb
North-Western Shipping Company’s (NWSC) MV Sormovsky 3056 is arriving on Friday, Sept. 2 in Big Port St. Petersburg transporting oversized cargo from the Spanish port of Bilbao. The ship carries on board a cargo that weighs as much as 180 tons and has 68 m in length, the shipping company said.
The cargo (a column with component units) is being delivered for gas power station, located in the village of Aksaraiskaya of Astrakhan region.
After customs clearance procedure in St Petersburg the vessel will proceed to her destination - the Volga port of Buzan.
NWSC’s subsidiary Volga-Baltic Logistic was responsible for chartering management of the operation.
Overall, since April the operator has carried out 30 deliveries of project cargoes, 20 of them - onboard ‘river-sea’ vessels and 10 – by ATBs.
