FCT’s box volume climbs 9.1 percent to 808.1 TEUs
Container traffic at First Container Terminal (FCT) in January-August totaled 808,133 TEUs, a 9.1 percent growth year-on-year, National Container Company (NCC) said.
In August, container throughput of FCT rose 3.3% to 98,548 TEUs.
In the reporting period, the stevedore handled 46,541 TEUs of export containers, 52,700 TEUs of imported containers and 8,966 TEUs of reefer containers.
In August, the terminal handled 70 container ships, with an average of 1,408 TEUs per vessel.
