Pacific Shipping Trust (PST) has taken delivery of a 180,000-dwt capesize bulk carrier from Hyundai Heavy Industries on Monday.
The capesize Shagang Hongfa is PST's first bulk carrier into its existing fleet of 12 containerships ranging from 943-4,250 teu.
The Singapore-listed trust is still awaiting the delivery of one more new capesize bulker, five supramax bulkers and two multi-purpose vessels in phases until 2013.
The total contracted revenue from all the new vessels is about $750m until 2013.
