Excel Shipping joins INTTRA
Excel Shipping said its new membership in the INTTRA’s ocean shipping e-commerce network will allow the U.K.-based non-vessel common carrier to focus more on growing its business, instead of scheduling and booking services, the Journal of Commerce reported.
Excel Shipping, a provider of consolidation and full load transport to the Mediterranean, Middle East, Africa, India and other areas, said it was one of the first NVOCCs in the UK to use INTTRA to receive and send bookings and bill of landing instructions.
"By using INTTRA's e-commerce solutions for ocean shipping, our partners will be able to provide more efficient logistics processes that will increase accuracy and the development of streamlined shipping plans," said Hans Meindorfner, INTTRA general manager of Europe.
"These changes will inherently increase operations and revenue for our partners, especially NVOCCs like Excel Shipping Limited whose resources need to be allocated to areas that will keep them moving forward in the industry."
