Russian Govt updates Murmansk port’s boundaries
The Russian Government has made some changes to the established boundaries of the Murmansk port’s marine terminal located on the island of Kolguyev, 390 nm off Murmansk port, the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport said.
This was due to resumed shipments of hydrocarbons and operation of the terminal’s southern underwater pipeline. Earlier, the facility area was not included in the port’s boundaries. The area is navigable from June through December.
Operators of the Kolguyev Island facility are Arcticneft CJSC and Arcticmorneftegasrazvedka JSC .The terminal annually transships 80,000 tons of crude oil at outer anchorage.
