At the moment the UAM pendulum uses 14 ships of 5,300- to 5,600-TEU. The port rotation is: Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Taranto, Jeddah, Colombo, Tanjung Pelepas, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai, Ningbo, Tacoma, Vancouver, Tokyo, Osaka, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Colombo, Ashdod, Alexandria, Taranto, Genoa.
Alphaliner said five of the existing UAM ships will be swapped for slightly smaller vessels taken from the carrier's Far East-Middle East Gulf service (APG), in order to adjust the capacity of the new PNW loop to the 5,000-TEU scale.
It said the pendulum pattern for the new FEM service is: Ashdod, Alexandria, Taranto, Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Taranto, Jeddah, Colombo, Tanjung Pelepas, Kaohsiung, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Colombo, and back to Ashdod. The FEM deploys ten x 5,300- to 5,500-TEU ships.
The port rotation for the PNW, which deploys five x 5,000-TEU vessels, is: Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Yantian, Shanghai, Ningbo, Tacoma, Vancouver, and back to Kaohsiung.
