MOL to raise capacity of Japan-Korea-Thailand CBE service in October
Japan's largest carrier MOL recently announced it will raise the capacity of its Japan-Korea-Thailand CBE string in October from the 1,000-TEU level to 2,500 TEU by deploying three 2,553-TEU ships - MOL Seabreeze, MOL Success and MOL Sparkle - to replace the existing 1,060-TEU MOL Admiration and MOL Aqua, as well as 1,118-TEU Aur River, Shippingazette reports citing Alphaliner.
The CBE loop, with Interasia and Heung-A taking slots, calls at Tokyo, Yokohama, Shimizu, Nagoya, Kanmon, Busan, Laem Chabang, Manila and back to Tokyo.
