Kuwait to receive 320,000-ton oil tanker from Korea
Kuwait Oil Tanker Co. will receive an oil tanker with a capacity of 320,000 tons on Sept. 30 as it seeks to expand its fleet, state news agency KUNA reported, citing KOTC’s chairman, Bloomberg reports. The ship is the fourth in an $800 million contract with South Korea for six tankers, Chairman Nabil Bouresli said, according to KUNA.
The company will sign a further accord before the end of this year for nine new tankers for completion in 2014 and 2015, the news service said, citing Bouresli.
