Tansi buys 20 percent shares in Vostochny Port
Federal Agency for Management of State Property (Rosimushchestvo) today announced the outcome of the auction for the sale of shares of JSC Vostochny Port. A 20-percent stake was acquired by JSC Tansi for RUB 912 million, the agency said. Among bidders were also Dialog-Invest, BaltResurs.
Rosimushchestvo put up for auction 498,880 of shares in uncertificated form, representing 20% of the company’s authorized share capital. A share par value - 250 rubles. The opening bid of the stake was RUB 892 million.
Vostochny Port JSC is the largest stevedore company in the Russian Far East operating in the port of Vostochny. The company specializes in handling of coal using the conveyor equipment . The company’s assets include a Specialized Coal Terminal and Universal Terminal (PPK-1) for handling general and bulk cargoes (coal, coke, clinker, iron ore, timber, etc.) as well as metals, pulp, aluminum, chemical, heavy-lift and oversized cargo. In 2010, the stevedore handled 14,700,3 tons (+1%), while Universal Handling Terminal’s throughput rose by 21% year-over-year to 2,802,600 tons.
