Nyagan power plant takes delivery of project cargo from Rotterdam
The equipment of total weight of more than 2,000 tons intended for construction of the second and third power units of Nyagan SDPP has been delivered to the construction site, the Russian Ministry of Energy.
"Shipping of the cargo from the port of Rotterdam, its further transportation by sea-going and river vessels from the port of Yamburg to the condensing power plant took about nine months. The final phase of the logistics operation, the power equipment delivery by special trucks - about two weeks," noted Oleg Polyantsev, head of the Unified Directorate of the construction project of NSDPP. He added that the operation went smoothly without any incidents.
