Australia's Port Hedland iron ore shipments down 1 pct in Sept
Iron ore shipments from Australia's Port Hedland, one of the world's largest export terminals, slipped 1 percent to 20 million tonnes in September from August, data released by the port authority showed on Thursday, Reuters reports. Shipments to China, the port's biggest destination, rose to 15.1 million tonnes from 14.3 million tonnes in August. BHP Billiton is the port's biggest user, followed by Fortescue Metals Group Ltd .
