SapuraCrest posts Q3 net profit of $38.1mln

SapuraCrest Petroleum racked in higher third quarter net profit despite a fall in revenue due to higher contribution from its marine services division, Seatrade Asia online reports. Net profit for the period rose to RM119.5m ($38.1m) compared to RM92.2m in the corresponding period of last year. Revenue decreased by 26.5% to RM745.8m compared to last year's same quarter of RM1bn. SapuraCrest expects to achieve improved results for the financial year ending 31 January 2012.
