Container throughput of "Petrolesport" up to 451,600 TEU in Jan-Oct 2008

In January-October 2008 the throughput of OJSC "Petrolesport" container terminal (a part of Global Ports Investments) reached 451,600 TEU. In comparison with the similar period of 2007 the company’s container throughpur increased by 49.4%, the company informs. In particular, in October the terminal handled 52,000 TEU (+79.6%).

OJSC "Petrolesport" (PLP) is a stevedore company of the Big port of St. Petersburg. PLP handles various cargoes (refrigerator, ro-ro, wood, general), occupying a leading position in container transfer in the North-West region of Russia. The basic shareholder of OJSC "Petrolesport" is Global Ports group (a part of the group of companies "N-trances").
