Container throughput of "Moby Dick" up to 193,300 TEU in Jan-Oct 2008

In January-October 2008 the container throughput of LLC «Moby Dick» terminal reached 193,300 TEU, which by 15.6exceeds the figure of the similar period of 2007, the company informs. In October the company handled 22,000 TEU (-4.8%).
"Moby Dick" container terminal was commissioned in 2002. It is located in Kronstadt on the island of Kotlin. The container turnover of LLC "Moby Dick" exceeded 200,000 TEU in 2007. The terminal is owned by a Finnish corporation Container Finance Group and Global Ports group (a member of "N-trances" group of companies) on the equal right basis.

Global Ports was created by "N-trances" group of companies as a result of consolidation of group’s terminal assets aiming at further development of port business.
