Lianyungang port launches new shipping lines to Korea

Eastern China's Port of Lianyungang has launched two new shipping lines respectively to Korea's port of Kunsan and Busan, Logistics Week reported.
The lines are operated by Korea-based shipping company CK Line, offering daily sailing on Friday, using 6,000-tonne containerships, calling at Kunsan, Busan and Russia's Vostochny.
Cargo from Lianyungang and its neighbouring cities can transship via port of Busan to Japan's Chiba, Hiroshima, Kure, Mizushima, Naoetsu and Niigata, while cargo from Korea or Japan can transship via the sea-rail intermodal service at Lianyungang to the hinterland regions of Zhengzhou, Xian Xinjiang and Chengdu.
