The three-day event will witness the signing of 15 agreements to jump-start investment projects in Ningbo, with the aim of increasing port, logistics and trade cooperation between the two cities.
Ningbo officials are also hoping to encourage more Ningbo companies to list in Singapore - a popular bourse for China firms.
At present, there is only one Ningbo company listed here - China Precision Technology, a manufacturing services provider for the consumer electronics, telecoms and automotive industries.
Bilateral trade between Ningbo and Singapore hit an impressive US$555million last year. Exports to Singapore hit $348 million.
Singapore is Ningbo's 10th largest investor. Currently, there are 241 Singapore companies that have invested a total of $370 million.
