A terrorist group called Deccan Mujahideen has taken credit for the violent attacks across Mumbai city yesterday that have left over 300 injured and 80 dead. The attacks particularly targeted British and American visitors to India’s financial capital, and gunmen at the city’s Oberoi Trident hotel are currently holding about 15 foreigners hostage. A similar hostage situation was resolved at the Taj Mahal Hotel (pictured) this morning by the army, and local papers have reported rumours of gun shot victims being admitted to nearby hospitals.
