Participants of international project LogOn Baltic have published a report on “State of Logistics in the Baltic Sea Region” survey, PortNews IAA correspondent reports from LogOn Baltic conference held in St. Petersburg today.
The survey was aimed at improvement of logistics efficiency in the Baltic Sea region. It contains data about expenses, outsourcing, development of logistics companies based on answers given by 1230 representatives from 8 Baltic states. According to Prof. Lauri Ojala, Turku School of Economics, one of the research authors, the report is one of the world’s largest databases on the branch.

The LogOn Baltic project was approved within the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) INTERREG III B eighbourhood Programme, which is sponsored by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), as part of the Structural Funds, and cofinanced by national project partners.
