BBC Chartering opens new office in Antwerp
Leading German multipurpose and heavy lift operator BBC Chartering announces the opening of a new booking office in Antwerp, Belgium this August.
The Port of Antwerp represents an important hub for BBC Chartering’s liner activities to South America and the Far East. Supporting the company’s future development, the opening of the new office aims at strengthening BBC Chartering’s commercial presence in the Benelux market. With this step the company announces it terminates the previous commercial agency representation through Van Dosselaere & Achten, effective August 1, 2012.
The Antwerp office represents the 26th global presence and the seventh presence of BBC Chartering in Europe. Sandra Bal was appointed as local BBC Chartering representative and confidently states, “With the new office, we offer one more direct point of access to the shipping solutions provided by BBC Chartering.”
Sandra Bal will work out of the new premises of BBC Chartering Belgium N.V., Zwarte Weg Kaai 359, 2030 Antwerp and receives commercial inquiries under antwerp@bbc-chartering.com. Van Doesselaere & Achten continues to represent BBC Chartering as agents for all Belgium ports.

With currently more than 150 vessels being marketed by BBC Chartering the company operates the single largest multipurpose and heavy lift fleet in the market with lifting capacities reaching up to 800mt and vessel sizes that range from 3,500 to 37,300dwt.
