Taiwan ports seek ties with China's Guangxi province
Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC) and China's Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group have penned an agreement to bolster sea traffic between Taiwanese ports and three Chinese ports, Seatrade Asia online reports.
Both parties have come together with the aim of enhancing long-term cooperation between their respective ports, increase the flow of cargoes and establish close working relationship, according to a statement from TIPC.
The three main Chinese ports in southern province Guangxi include Qinzhou, Fangcheng and Beihai. The ports under TIPC include Kaohsiung, Keelung, Hualien and Taichung.
