  Rosmorport charters two catamarans from Singaporean company

  

  Rosmorport has chartered two passenger catamarans Penguin-32 and Penguin-33 from the Singapore-based Penguin International Ltd. The vessels were time-chartered to transport passengers at the port of Vladivostok and carry participants of the APEC Summit-2012 to the island, the company said on Wednesday.

  The boats will be delivered to the port of Vladivostok by a ship that departed on July 27, 2012 from the port of Singapore.

  The ship with the passenger crafts on board is due at the port of Vladivostok in August.

  The double-decked passenger vessels were built in China in 2008.

  The vessels’ main characteristics: length overall - 27.67 m, beam - 8.5 m, draft 1.5 m, passenger capacity - 200 people, maximum speed - 25 knots.
