In Arkhangelsk welcomes Silver Explorer arrival
The oldest Russian port of Arkhangelsk on August 5, 2012 saw the arrival of SILVERSEA-owned cruise ships Silver Explorer, the PortNews correspondent reports. The passenger ship sailing to the shores of the Arctic and Antarctica, this time was following the route of the expedition of the legendary 16th century Dutch explorer Willem Barents (Kola Peninsula, Novaya Zemlya, Franz Josef Land).
The cruise ship with tourists from the USA, Germany and Australia visited the Solovki Islands and made call to the port of Arkhangelsk.
Earlier in July this year, the port of Arkhangelsk saw the arrival of six deck cruise liner Silver Cloud, designed for 296 passengers.
