Oil products exports via Vysotsk terminal sink 10.7 percent
Shipments of oil products through the terminal RPK Vysotsk "LUKOIL-II” based in Leningrad region in January-July 2012 dropped 10.7 % compared to the same period a year earlier, to 5,067,700 tons, the Port of Vysotsk statistics said.
During the reporting period, diesel fuel exports through the terminal totaled 1,081,970 tons, naphtha shipments – 724,800 tons, fuel oil – 3,862,600, crude oil (hard-to-get crude from Yaregsky field) – 8,640 tons.
In July, the facility handled 109,200 tons of diesel fuel, 118,600 tons of naphtha and 654,500 tons of fuel oil.
Exports of diesel fuel, naphtha and fuel oil are estimated to reach in August 80,000 tons, 137,000 tons and 503,000 tons, accordingly.
In 2011, Russian oil exports through the terminal totaled 9,687,600 tons (209 tankers), a 20% slump year-over-year. Overall, given the Vysotsk-bound rail traffic, the commodities shipments via RPK Vysotsk "LUKOIL II» shrank 19.5% compared with the 2010’s numbers, to 9,948,300 tons (including volumes delivered by fuel oil-laden river tankers and oil product shipments to bunkering vessel). In 2011, the terminal handled 472 small and large-tonnage tankers.
