NCSP Group names Marat Shaydaev Chairman of NCSP's Board
The Board of Directors of PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port at its meeting on August 6, 2012 elected Marat Shaydaev as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the company press service said.
In 1990, Marat Shaydaev graduated from the Military Institute of the MOD of USSR where he majored in law, obtained qualification of a lawyer, jurist. He is also a graduate of the Russian Academy of Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation (qualification: State and Municipal Management).
In 2011 he joined JSC NCSP as Vice President, Moscow office head. Then Shaydaev was appointed First Deputy CEO of PJSC NCSP.
He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of several companies of the NCSP Group: Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, NLE, Baltic Stevedore Company Ltd, Primorsk Oil Terminal Ltd, member of the Board of Directors of Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard and Novorossiysk Oil Terminal LLC.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port is the largest Russian company and ranks third operator in Europe in terms of cargo throughput. The NCSP Group incorporates the following stevedore companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Shipyard, PJSC Fleet of NCSP, OJSC NovorosLesExport, OJSC IPP, Baltic Stevedoring Company Ltd. and PJSC Primorsk Trade Port Ltd. Novoport Holding Ltd, which is beneficially owned by Transneft and Ziyavudin Magomedov (Summa Group), holds a 50.1% stake in PJSC NCSP. Consolidated revenue according to IFRS for the nine months of 2011 totaled $782 million and EBITDA of $404 million. NCSP shares are traded on Russia's MICEX exchange (NMTP) and on the London Stock Exchange in the form of GDRs (NCSP). In 2011, cargo traffic at NCSP Group totaled 157 million tons.
