Two high-speed crafts have been delivered today to the seaport of Vladivostok on board the M/V Merwedegracht, a Rosmorport spokesperson said.
Two catamarans Penguin-32 and Penguin-33 were chartered by Rosmorport from Penguin International Ltd. (Singapore) for transportation of participants of the APEC Summit 2012, which will be held in Vladivostok on the Russky Island, 5-10 September, 2012, Irina Lobkova, spokesperson to Rosmorport said.
After passing through the port and customs formalities the catamarans were offloaded and docked at Berth Number 3 of the seaport of Vladivostok.
The double-decked passenger boats were built in China in 2008. The vessels’ characteristics: length - 27.67 m, breadth - 8.5 m, draft - 1.5 m Passenger capacity of each vessel is 200 people. Maximum speed - 25 knots.
