Oil exports through Primorsk port climb 1 percent in Jan-Jul, 2012
Shipments of crude oil and oil products through Primorsk Trade Port in January-July 2012 totaled 44,349,700 tons, a 1% gain year-on-year, the Authority of Big Port St. Petersburg said.
Crude exports through Primorsk terminal also increased by 1% to 41.6 million tons, while shipments of diesel fuel fell 3% to 3,343,300 tons.
Primorsky Trade Port (PTP) is Russia’s premier port in the country’s North-West region for exports of oil and petroleum products. The Primorsk Oil Terminal is the terminus of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS) and main pipelines Kstovo-Yaroslavl-Kirishi-Primorsk (North Project) and JSC Transnefteproduct.
