Mid-week bunker prices continue downward
Falling bunker prices were seen once again in many ports on Wednesday, with much of South America's IFO prices remaining steady.
Singapore IFO380 and MGO fell for a second consecutive day, IFO380 slipping $4.50 to $670.00 per metric tonne (pmt) and MGO down $7.50 to $989.00 pmt.
Hong Kong saw IFO380 and MGO fell $7.50 to $684.50 and $8.50 to $1003.50 pmt respectively, with IFO380 making a week-on-week loss of $3.50 pmt.
Rotterdam IFO380, 1.00% maximum sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) and MGO all made losses for a second consecutive day. IFO380 dropped $5.00 to $647.50 pmt, LS380 was down $9.50 to $697.00 and MGO was down $11.50 to $973.00 pmt.
Fujairah 380 cSt product and MGO were down for a second consecutive day, IFO380 dropping $4.50 to $682.00 pmt and MGO losing $3.00 to bring the price to $1033.50.
Houston IFO380 and LS380 fell for a third consecutive market day. IFO380 was down $5.00 to $651.00, LS380 slipped $4.00 to $750.50, and MGO made a gain of $2.00 moving the price to $1039.00 pmt.
LA / Long Beach saw IFO380 lose $0.50 to $691.00, while LS380 gained $4.00 to bring the price to $959.00 pmt making the premium for the low sulfur grade $268.00 pmt.
The mid-week WTI spot price fell $0.84 to close at $95.49 per barrel.
