Mermaid Maritime Public Company secured a contract worth $4.8m for accommodation barge support services in Indonesia to an existing client, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The barge MTR-1 is presently in Indonesia in a contract scheduled to end in September this year and the new five-month contract will commence back-to-back with the client's existing contract.
Mermaid Maritime, a majority owned subsidiary of Thoresen Thai Agencies, is a provider of subsea and drilling services for the offshore oil and gas industry.
