The G6 Alliance is to expand its cooperation to the Far East – US East Coast trade from May according to analyst Alphaliner.
The six member alliance comprising APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines, Hapag-Lloyd, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line has served the Asia – Europe trade since early 2012.
According to Alphaliner the six lines currently operate a total of eight Far East – US East Coast services.
Details of the new cooperation started from May are expected to be announced at a later date.
