The M/V Ariec ship master and the M/V Alena chief engineer (both Russia nationals) were found dead on board the ships, the National Rescue Coordination Centre of the Transportation Ministry reported.
The investigators believe those were deaths by natural causes. The M/V Ariec is en route to Kavkaz Port to remove the body of the captain. The M/V Alena is now at the port’s anchorage, the body transportation is delayed because of bad weather.
