Maritime Officers are inviting members to a political panel discussion on the topic of future of Danish shipping. Maritime Officers invites and Niels Krause-Kjaer controls the debate when it is unleashed on SIMAC in Svendborg, 20 February 2013.
The government's maritime growth team recently delivered its recommendations to boost growth in the Blue Denmark. This occurred under the heading "Denmark - the Core of Maritime Europe".
Based on Denmark's stated goal of being the leading seafaring nation, the future of Danish shipping will be debated, including the preservation of Denmark's maritime skills.
All political parties are invited and already commercial spokesman Benny Engelbrecht (S), maritime spokesman Preben Bang Henriksen (V), Henning Hyllested (EL) and Mike Legarth (KF) have backed the event.
It will take place at Svendborg International Maritime Academy (SIMAC) in Svendborg on Wednesday 20 February 2013, Time 14:30 to 16:30.
