CMA CGM announced on January 21 its peak season surcharge effective January 28th.
From January 28, France’s largest container shipping group will implement the following peak season surcharge:
From all Asian ports (including Japan, South East Asia and Bangladesh) to all Northern European ports (including UK and the full range from Portugal to Russia)
+ USD 250 per TEU (Dry cargo, OOG’s, Break Bulk)
From February 15, CMA CGM will implement new general rate increases:
From North Europe (Baltic, Scandinavian, UK/Eire, Continental, Atlantic Spanish and Portuguese ports) to West Coast South America
+ EUR 300 per TEU on all shipments excluding Reefer
