Icebreaker Captain Metsaik is assisting a mership convoy of 8 vessels going to the port of Astrakhan in the district of 15 km of VCSC.
Icebreakers Captain Bukaev Captain Chechkin are escorting a mership convoy of 11 vessels from Astrakhan and Olya ports to the sea.
From December 16, 2012, the convoy navigation in the water area of Astrakhan port is carried out with icebreaking assistance according to the order of the port’s Harbor Master.
From December 21, 2012, tug and tow vessels or non-reinforced vessels are not permitted to ice navigation in the water area of Astrakhan port.
