United Industrial Corporation and Sovcomflot have signed a cooperation agreement, anticipating the developmental work of technical and commercial operation factors of the construction of multifunctional supply icebreaker and also tankers for transportation of liquefied natural gas. The tankers capacity totals 75,000 m³. The Agreement was signed within the framework of XIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, PortNews IAA reporter says.

OPK’s strategic target is to set up a modern shipbuilding facility capable of making seagoing vessels ranging up to 300,000 tonnes in deadweight, the annual deadweight output being 500,000 tonnes.
