“Olympic” cruise ships went though clearing procedures

Cruise ships chartered by FSUE Rosmorport for accommodation of the guests and the participants of the XXII Olympic Games and the XI Paralympic Games in Sochi have undergone all necessary customs procedures, says press center of the Southern Customs.

The procedure of temporary admission to the Customs Union territory was applied. The term expires on February 28, the end of the Olympic Games. All the procedures were executed by Department No 1 of the Central Customs Terminal of Sochi.

Princess Maria, SNAV TOSCANA, Norwegian Jade and Princess Anastasia were cleared on February 1-3. Two more cruise ships, Thomson Spirit and Louis Olympia, as well as private yacht Tatoosh from Turkey which arrived at Sochi Imeretinsky port at the mouth of Mzymta river were also cleared through the procedure of temporary admission to the Customs Union territory.

From the beginning of 2014, the Department No 1 of Sochi CCT cleared 11 vessels, 458 passengers and 1,350 crew members.

Winter Olympics 2014 is an international sport event which is to be held in Russian city of Sochi on February 7 – February 23.
