The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation have agreed with Rosneft the plan for location of shipyards (both civil and military ones) in the Murmansk Region, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin said in his microblog in Twitter.
“Roslyakovo village of the Murmansk Region will become the center of Rosneft’s Arctic shipbuilding in the nearest future. It will generate new jobs and revenues,” the statement reads.
Besides, the statement says that Rosneft has agreed with the relevant Ministries the “road map” for creation of a consortium on construction of production platforms in the Primorsk Territory.
