  Forum participants call for revival of education program for dredging specialists in Rostov-on-Don (photo)

  

  It is necessary to revive the training of dredging specialists in Rostov-on-Don. According to IAA PortNews journalist, this opinion was expressed by Aleksandr Attar, Director of Saint-Petersburg branch of Ekohidrotechnika, at the Forum of  Dredging Companies organized by media-group PortNews (February 12, 2014, Moscow). 
  
  He noted that the only educational institution to train dredging specials in Russia - Rostov nautical school named after Sedov – ceased enrollment for dredging specialization from 2013.
  
  Aleksandr Attar thinks it is important to develop an efficient system for financing of special education.
  
  Besides, he says it is necessary to create an outsourcing system for dredging specialists and a dredging e-library.
