Nevsky Shipyard started the construction of sea tanker 23130 project (yard number 901). For the moment the steel necessary for the sea tanker construction has been purchased and the Shipyard started the steel cutting. The tenders for materials and equipment purchase are announced, the company said in its press release.
The keel-laying of the sea tanker is scheduled on April, 2014.
On November 1st, 2013, the Federal Agency for Weaponry, Military and Special Equipment and Material facilities Procurement (Rosoboronpostavka), representative of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, and Nevsky Shipyard, LLC signed the State Contract for the construction of sea tanker 23130 project. Nevsky Shipyard got the right to conclude the State Contract having won the open competitive tender.
