Bunkering tanker Freya (owned by Neftechim-Bunker CJSC) has commenced operations at port Saint-Petersburg, IAA PortNews learned from a source in the port.
The tanker purchased in spring’13 was moored at the berth of Baltiysky Zavod which was repairing its main engine and other mechanisms.
The tanker has eight pairs of separate tanks and can simultaneously carry different oil products (up to 2,500 t). The vessel is 80.88 meters long and 13 meters wide. Its double hull meets the requirements of MARPOL.
