LV Shipping & Transport will run a new regular fortnightly service between Saint Petersburg and the port of Rotterdam for the Russian shipping company AGS. The ports of Goole and Hull on the east coast of the United Kingdom can be added to the service, if there is demand, Port of Rotterdam said in its media release.
The ship, the ‘Trans Alrek’, can transport combined loads of dry bulk up to 366 TEU. Transy Partner in Saint Petersburg is agent for the service. AGS is seeking a second ship already, so that the shipping company can provide a weekly service.
