Land plot category changed at Cape Davydov
According to Government of Russia Regulation dated 03.02.2014 No. 125-r upon an initiative of FSUE “Rosmorport” a land plot measuring more than 14 thousand square meters has been transferred from the category of reserve lands to the category of industrial, energy, transport, communications, radio, television, information technology lands, lands for support of the space activities, defense and security lands, and lands of other special purposes, Rosmorport says in its press release. The amendment was made for the land plot to be used during the construction of GMDSS A1 sea area facilities at the approaches to De-Kastri Seaport.
The facilities under construction located at the land plot comprise a self-contained radio technical post at Cape Davydov, an 815-meter approach road and an almost 3-kilometer 10 kVA power transmission line. They are designed to provide functioning of the radio technical post and improve navigation safety in De-Kastri Seaport and its approaches, first of all regarding the oil tankers proceeding from the filling stations of the seaport. The radio technical post at Cape Davydov in GMDSS A1 sea area in Chikhacheva Bay and Strait of Tartary will provide radio locator control, which will ensure better supervision of navigation. It will also help to elicit and prevent dangerous situations at sea in the Russian Federation area of responsibility, in accordance with the SOLAS Convention 1974.
More information on the course of construction is available in the section “Development of Port Infrastructure Facilities and Fleet by the Vanino Branch”.
