According to the press center of the Federal Marine and River Transport Agency, icebreaking assistance of this winter navigation has covered 650 vessels (as of March 31).
The Kapitan Izmailov icebreaker currently escorts vessels at seaports Vyborg and Vysotsk.
13 icebreakers are in reserve.
