Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On the Russian Federation’s Accession to the Convention on the Preservation and Management of High Seas Fishery Resources in North Pacific Ocean.
In accordance with the Federal Law, Russia is acceding to the Convention on the Preservation and Management of High Seas Fishery Resources in North Pacific Ocean of February 24, 2012, aimed at ensuring the long-term preservation and sustainable use of fishery resources in the high seas in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean, as well as protecting the marine ecosystems they inhabit.
