Owners of "Tor Viking" announce cancellation of charter agreement for the 2014/15 season

The charter agreement for AHTS "Tor Viking" has been cancelled by the Charterer for the drilling season 2014. The previously communicated charter agreement for “Tor Viking” applies to the 2014 and 2015 seasons in sub-Arctic waters with options for 2016 and 2017, the ship owner Rederi AB TransAtlantic said in a press-release.

The duration of each season is approximately 7 months including mobilization and demobilization with commencement around May 1st each year. The contract is still valid for the remainder of its periods.

According to the contract Viking Supply Ships (VSS) will be paid a cancellation fee.
