Within the framework of preparation for SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta 2014, certain repair works have been undertaken at port Novorossiysk. According to IAA PortNews reporter, this was announced by Andrei Fonarev, deputy head of Novorossiysk Administration.

In particular, he told journalists about development of the port’s western pier.

“Repair work has been performed at berths 34, 34А and 35, round the passenger terminal building and inside it as well,” Fonarev said.

According to him, the passenger terminal generally meets the requirements to handling of cruise ships. This year, the port expects the increase of passenger liners’ calls, he emphasized.
