On May 13, 2014 cruise ship Legend of the Seas (Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises) made her first call at Passenger port of St. Petersburg "Marine façade", the oport’s press center says.
The ship is on her 7-day cruise around the largest ports of the Baltic Sea: Copenhagen, Tallinn, Saint-Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm.
Among Vision class cruise ships, Legend of the Seas features the possibility of viewing the surroundings from within the ship thanks to a larger glass area. Vessels of this class are among the fastest in the world with maximum speed of 27 knots.
Legend of the Seas was built in 1995 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique (France). Her length is 264 m, passenger capacity – up to 2,076 persons, flag – Bahama Islands.

JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m long and with a draft of up to 9 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length – 2,171.06 m.
